Banning medical intervention with such severe lifelong consequences on people clearly unable to give informed consent would seem to be a simple matter.
Clearly it isn't.
But then, "gender therapy" is a huge business. And not all of us opposed to it are conservatives.
I am 𝑑𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑙𝑦 troubled by finding myself on the same side of an issue as the conservatives I despise. But the sickness that is "trans" is so evident, the fact that so many buy into going along with it sickens me.
"It doesn't cost you anything to use their preferred pronouns"
Well, yes it does, it costs me my integrity. It means knowingly going along with a lie it means paying homage to an ideology I don't believe in. I will not take part in any ridiculous pronoun rituals I will not refer to a man as "she," and absolutely will never use a plural pronoun for a single person.
Bravo!! The ACLU, LAMDA Legal, HRC, GLAD, NCLR, SPLC are all drowning in cash from the billionaires driving this fiasco: Pritzkers, Gill, Stryker (of Stryker Medical and Arcus Foundation), etc. Stryker dumped $15M on the ACLU, specifically for these cases alone.
I have to say this was the clearest writing on a legal subject I’ve seen in decades. I understood the problem instantly, and the detail was wonderful. Kudos.
The "very blunt approach" of bring bans for so-called gender medicine was hardly a right wing idea. Spinning it as a 'conservative mission' only serves industry as it riles the masses against what is most people regardless of ideology would want. The first gender banning bills began when a small group of mostly mothers (and a couple of dads) gathered under the banner of the Kelsey Coalition. The parents were from all sides of the aisle. But their stories eerily the same. It was 2019 and there was even an attempt to get the left side to see and hear what was happening to young people when a lecture called Concerns from the Left was had at the Heritage Foundation. Both red and blue legislators heard the horror stories parents were exposing. Only the red states thought bills were worthy. In other words, they were likely already bought out by industry. It was SC and then I think FL who first took on the efforts - and both failed at the time as corporate interests stamped out any chance of success at the time. FTM Minter has been at this a very long time but funny how the personalities of these lawyers cannot work together.
Outstanding work. Five stars. Let's hope you are right and the biglaw firms get leery of defending the child-sterilizing cult.

Amen! I am a lifelong Democrat trying to wrap my head around what the Party promotes. 't.And I can't. I just can't.

Thank you! I'm a big fan of your work
Thank you, and now I am one of yours too!

Thank you for covering the details of this case.

Interesting, I'll look up the Kelsey coalition! Links, etc, are welcome.
Fantastic read.
I'm worried that openly lying does not impede your career in US law
Under US law, a man can be sent to prison for taking a bribe that the other was acquitted of paying.
It's a dishonest and illogical mess.
