In 2019, Chase tweeted that I "use my ACLU credentials" to "legitimize my violent vision for trans death to be seen as a victim and the purveyor of some truth that exists behind the pages of [the ACLU's] advocacy for trans existence." Make of that what you will!

I have NO idea what that means and yet I think I get the gist. We are living through an extraordinary moment in American legal history.

It’s always about ‘revolution’ (the fight to gain power). Use whomever and whatever, however necessary. She’s selected distressed children. And she will stand on a pile of their dead and mutilated bodies to get to the top.

I see a glorification of and fascination with violence and death.

Eleganta's avatar

It's a death cult.

"Make of that what you will"

Haha, I've read it four times and I can't make heads nor tails of it. It looks like words chosen more or less at random.

Speaking of Chase and ICYMI, you might have some interest in these tweets of "his" which "he" has apparently since deleted:

Chase: "Girls who are trans are NOT males .... Just Stop. A girl has a female body. A girl is biologically female ..."

https://x.com/chasestrangio/status/1349722419179622404

See here for the screenshots: https://speakingplainly.substack.com/p/is-it-really-true-that-no-ones-denying

From the same source, UK transwoman India Willoughby:

India: "The only difference between trans women and most cis women is having babies and periods. That’s it. In all other ways, we biologically and factually change sex."

https://x.com/IndiaWilloughby/status/1558101840755056646

Rather remarkably clueless that "having babies and periods" is the whole ballgame, that ovaries are the sine qua non to qualify as a human female. Which India won't EVER have.

🙂 Some Olympic-level rationalization and motivated "reasoning" from that rather benighted neck of the woods.

But, apropos of which, you might have some interest in this old tweet from evolutionary "biologist" Colin Wright -- his claim to that estate being rather tenuous -- on the topic:

Wright: "What if I woke up and my reproductive anatomy had somehow inexplicably changed from a functional penis and testes to a functional vagina and ovaries? Would I cease to be male? 100% YES! I would absolutely now be a female."

https://x.com/SwipeWright/status/1240781010800979968

When Bruce Jenner and his ilk manage to replace their testicles with functional ovaries of their own is when I would agree they've changed sex. Won't be holding my breath ... 🙂

"Kara Dansky uses her ACLU credentials to make people take seriously her violent vision for trans death and see her as a victim and the purveyor of some truth beyond the propaganda of our transgenderism lobby."

I mean, everyone *knows* there's no truth beyond propaganda.

Is there??. . .

To whom you are attracted sexually is purely subjective and therefore cannot reasonably be contested by an outside observer.

Where you decide to live your life on a spectrum of superficial, stereotypical male to female attributes (and we all do) is also purely subjective and similarly cannot be questioned.

However, your biological sex reflects an objective reality which cannot be changed by your subjective personal view and futile attempts to do so can result in serious health impacts to you as well as harms to members of the sex you are impersonating (primarily women).

Others who are grounded in objective reality should never be forced to accept your subjective version of your actual biological sex.

Finally, it's past time for the LGB community to separate themselves from the trans activists who are trying to take away the rights of women to fairness in sports and to privacy and safety in their restrooms, locker rooms and prisons. They also advocate for the chemical and surgical mutilation of children many of whom would grow up gay.

Their actions are evil and the

understandable negative reaction to the harm they are causing is spilling over to innocent people who are just going about their business, marrying and leading their lives.

Hippiesq's avatar

I'm confused. Why does breaking the binary and pretending sex is a spectrum and a series of characteristics rather than a binary choice - male or female - justify sterilizing and mutilating children and causing them to become less healthy, life-long medical patients?

I've never understood why this is the argument made by trans-activists: sex isn't real so we should be allowed to use society's medical resources for free in order to weaken our bodies so that they can look like the opposite sex - which apparently doesn't exist, and we must be able to do this to children before it's "too late!" It makes zero sense.

Glenna Goldis's avatar

I can't make their argument make sense, but I can try to figure out where they're coming from:

If you deny children access to gender med, you're admitting gender med isn't a human right. If gender med isn't a human right, then "being trans" isn't a human right, even for adults. So child gender med must be defended.

All the "sex is a spectrum" stuff is just argumentation. What the masterminds really want is (1) to partake of gender med and (2) to be treated as someone they're not.

I'm on Team Gender Affirming Care is Cosmetic Surgery (not life saving) and should be treated as such.

Gerda Ho's avatar

It makes no sense because it all lies!

Notorious P.A.T.'s avatar

I'm with you. All I can come up with is, they know (on some level) that "gender-affirming care" doesn't do a damn thing to make a woman more like a man or a man more like a woman. So, they insist that sex is a spectrum, to try and make the people altered by this hokum not feel like it was all a complete waste.

Sufeitzy's avatar

Trans is a delusion with no beginning and no end. You can pretend, disguise it, use chemicals and surgery, change language, change laws, even try to eliminate women and men, but each morning you wake up to face that you can never be a sex other than the one you are. That’s the problem with a delusion. It’s the inability, not the unwillingness to accept reality. The word is Sisyphean, or Asymptotic - no matter how far you go, you will never arrive at a conclusion. You can only accept that fact. Every woman or man you see every pronoun, every pregnancy, every evidence of sex, every failed disguise, every injection, every failed drag is just a reminder, endlessly echoing.

One of my peaking moments was seeing a Strangio tweet about how there is no such thing as a binary in sex, sex is a spectrum.

Up to that moment, naive me thought trans stuff was just about gender presentation, not sex. She woke me up!

"The 2017 Endocrine Society guideline cited by the ACLU was drafted by a committee of less than a dozen people, all but one of whom were leaders in WPATH, and it was not reviewed beyond that group, according to Paul Hruz’s expert report in Skrmetti."

This illustrates why gender identity ideology and the policy and programs that implement its pernicious ideas are fundamentally illegitimate in a democratic society.

The comprehensive history of the trans capture of our institutions has yet to be written. Until then, it will be necessary to make reasonable inferences based on the circumstances. In the case of the Endocrine Society, it is reasonable to infer that trans activists and the trans allies with whom they collaborated intentionally took advantage of weaknesses in the society's governance practices. Those flaws permitted individuals with divided loyalties to stamp the society's imprimatur of approval on highly consequential and extremely contentious guidelines that by all rights should have been voted on by the entire membership.

It is difficult to believe that gender identity ideology would have spread as widely and as fast as it has if the elements of the trans agenda had been put to a vote of an informed and representative democratic decision-making body in every organization that ended up being captured.

Stryker, Alex Soros, Rothblatt, Quartermain, and Pritzker: every single one is a man who wants to destroy women.

This shit is the height of pseudoscience. I don’t care if people believe in astrology but I’d be damned if any interest group was trying desperately to codify the tenets of astrology into our legal system.

Is she going to appear before the justices with her hair looking like she's been blown through a hedge backwards as usual?

Eleganta's avatar

She's a wannabe vaudeville villain.

It's the weirdest fetish.

This says it all:

"Strangio is putting on her magic show not for judges but for her client, the LGBTQ community. She dreams of winning a court order abolishing the binary because that will be the “magic moment” (step 5 of the illusion) when she can say to her comrades: look, all that silly handkerchief-waving about gender identity was a trick. I was fighting for a world without sex."

ClemenceDane's avatar

She's the reason I stopped believing in anything the ACLU said or supported.

100%. Every time I see an ACLU canvasser in Manhattan with a clipboard, waiting to approach me, I feel contempt, and my fight instinct (a tendency to want to argue, I mean) starts to kick in. “Don’t do it, Steve, just look the other way and keep walking…”

Gerda Ho's avatar

Too bad the ACLU no longer cares for women or girls!

Ollie Parks's avatar

I have yet to read this, but I would be remiss if I didn't thank the author for referring to the ACLU's terror of a gay male lady lawyer as "she."

Matt Osborne's avatar

If Chase performs badly on 4 December and Skrmetti is upheld, will the ACLU abandon lex lobotomies for kids? Will; Chase be forced to get a real job? THIS IS SO EXCITING

Glenna Goldis's avatar

Chase will get an easy ride from confused respectful justices, perform in mediocre fashion, and after the gender grift is thoroughly exposed and the ACLU falls apart she will be hired to a cushy law prof gig.

Hey, thanks. This helped me to see that the trans stuff (in centering the non-binary) is all really about post-modernism or deconstruction. It's about creating confusion about what objectively observable reality is. Why would I think women are the ones who give birth or men are stronger than women and have penises? Because I'm a bigot, that's why -- and I'm deluded enough to think my perception is reality even though it's shared by everyone. The "truth" is there is no such thing as the two categories. It's revealing what was (surprisingly) stipulated about gender at the last SCOTUS argument (BPJ) (men and women can be separated for sports purposes) and why that seemed so at odds with what they were really saying, which was we can't know that men will be better at sports.

Eleganta's avatar

"I sort of was grasping for some sense that I existed in the world, but I could never see it reflected back to me."

What Kate Strangio entirely neglects to mention is the real reason she was experiencing this: thanks to a Boston article about her, we know that she grew up largely segregated with her mother (being driven to soccer games), while her brother got to spend weekends going on hikes and to movies with their father.

That's a whole lot of quality time for a father to spend with his child--especially if it's only one of his multiple children.

And it only got worse after her parents divorced.

So what we find is a girl sort of grasping for some sense that she existed in her father's world, but could never see herself reflected back to her from him. When she looked for herself in her father's eyes, she wasn't there.

This isn't a girl born in the wrong body. This is a girl whose father taught her that her body meant she didn't even exist.

The only way the woman that girl grew into could EVER exist to her own father would be to miraculously acquire a man's body.

LOOK AT ME DADDY

I EXIST

Wow, excellent dissection of the illusion. It’s still difficult to understand why judges didn’t see through this immediately though. Lawyers are supposed to be taught to cut through the bs.

Strangio is rightly named: STRANGE for sure and a liar for certain. A bearded woman no conscience whatever! I hope she loses big!
